Professional 5-Ply Construction
5-ply construction of mixed metals maximizes heat transfer and reduces energy usage; features that enable Viking cookware to deliver superior cooking performance. Each layer of metal is designed to provide durability and efficiency.
The exterior layer is magnetic stainless steel making the cookware suitable for all cooktops including induction. The inner three layers of aluminum transfer heat evenly through the bottom and sides of the pan. The interior is 18/10 stainless steel which is non-reactive and non-porous; the ideal cooking surface, easy to clean and sanitize. Together, these five layers work in unison to transfer heat quickly and evenly while using less energy to achieve desired cooking temperatures. The pure aluminum inner layer is the key ingredient driving the efficiency of this cookware as aluminum is one of the most conductive metals used in cookware. The inner and outer stainless layers provide stability, prevent warping and ensure easy maintenance.

Ergonomic Cast Stainless Handle
Viking designed the stay-cool handles to be ergonomically friendly, making the cookware more comfortable to hold and maneuver.
Handles are permanently attached with stainless steel rivets.
Designed to deliver Balance and Control.
Larger vessels include Helper (Loop) Handles.
Handles will stay cool to the touch under most standard stovetop cooking conditions. However, all handles may get hot under extended or crowded stovetop use and when in the over. Always use heat protection when handling hot pans or lids.
